Good Deeds

He walked into the store and headed straight to the cookie aisle. He ripped open a bag of Oreo cookies, grabbed two handfuls and shoved them into his pocket. Then, he popped one into his mouth as he walked away. On his way to the magazine rack he picked up a cold chocolate milk to drink. At the rack, he reached for a gaming magazine and ripped off the plastic wrap; then, he sat on the floor to browse through the pages.

"What are you doing?!" the manager asked.
"Um. Nothing," he nonchalantly answered.
"Eating cookies, drinking chocolate milk, and reading a don't read until you buy it plastic wrapped magazine - that you haven't paid for - is not nothing!" the manager raised his voice.

He casually wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, feeling the crumbs of the cookies as he brushed them away. He said nothing is response to the manager's observation.

"So, what do you have to say for yourself?!" the manager questioned.
"Um. I don't know," he mumbled.
"I am going to need to call your parents! What is your name?" the manager asked, becoming impatient.

He stood up, spread out his arms, and ironically claimed "Good Deeds!"
