A walk along a nearby winding path, down through the forest; final stop, a sun-soaked lake is breathtaking for Mom. "Seriously?" admonishes Brad.
A nature trail meandering along, leading to a not too energetic waterfall is an adventure for Mom. "It's hot and my feet hurt," claims Brad.
The new Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana, and Wild Berry smoothies from McDonalds sound cool and refreshing for Mom. "I'll take one!" Brad loudly cheers.
And some times, they see eye-to-eye.
