g is for gregarious

A-Z CHALLENGE (hosted by a variety of writers) : April's task is to write something, anything using the letters of the alphabet as an inspiration for each post. In honor of one of my favorite authors, I will use Sue Grafton's title set-up: G is for... H is for... I is for... (and so on.).

He walks into the room.
Greeting everyone he sees with a big HELLO.

He shakes hands with the guys.
And is patted on the back in return.

He maneuvers passed them.

Embraces the girls.
Who peck him on the cheek.
Gently.
Carefully.
Gleefully.

Let's get this party started!
He shouts.
Once he is standing dead center.
Smack dab in the middle.
In the pleasantly crowded room.

He's happy here.
Enjoying the company of others.
Rather than sitting at home.
Reading the pile of scripts.
Constantly landing at his front door.

  1. I've always loved this word and wished it was the one to describe me. I see the love in your words.
